    Virginia Rath

    Virginia Rath is a researcher, lecturer and ethnographer fascinated by people and the stories they tell about themselves. As an ethnographer, she has worked with diverse clients from startups to multinational organizations and non-profits. She has taught ethnographic research methods and design thinking at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, Cornell and Stanford.

    Born in South Africa, Jan Sturmann studied photography at Pretoria Technicon. His publishing credits include The New York Times, The Washington Post, Smithsonian, The Boston Globe, Time, Newsweek and Marie Claire. Based in the Bay Area, he works with NGOs, corporate and news clients to harness the story-telling potential of video and photography.
